Countries and Planes

• Aloutia — Plane ruled entirely by the Holy Aloutian Empire. Completely conquered by Lucognidus following his ascension to Godhood. A single planet inside a small sphere of space. Features planetary rings, moons, and stars made from elementrons. The planet wobbles in space slightly, but does not orbit any celestial bodies. The ‘sun’ is one of its moons.

• Ophidia — Plane ruled entirely by the Women’s Republic of Ophidia. After the Ophidian Revolution in the year -20, all men, intersex, agender, and otherwise non-female people were enslaved. Was converted to Spiritism by St. Ancognidel, but was not conquered by Lucognidus, who is portrayed as a woman in Ophidian Spiritism. The Ophidian Plane is galactic in size, but all portals lead to the planet Ophidia. The planet has three moons with phases similar to Terra’s Luna.

• The Makai — Plane ruled entirely by the Demonic Kingdom of the Makai. When the first demons were created in the year -666, they conquered the plane formerly known as Pokki-Tellia and renamed it ‘the Makai’ meaning ‘Demon World’ in Orochigo (equivalent to Japanese). The Demon Lords used the Makai as their base of operations as they ruled the rest of the dominion. After Lucognidus’s conquest, all demons were expelled to the Makai, where they currently live. Each Demon Noble (King, Prince, Lord) as their own realm which they rule independently. The Makai does not have a sun, stars, or moon. It is a solitary planet inside a small sphere of space. A daily influx of Light elementrons provides light, even indoors and in caves. The core of the planet is very warm, making the entire surface and surrounding atmosphere warm, too. The Demon Prince Jumijo, a giant cloud of black smoke with millions of eyes, circles the Makai.

• Cosmo — A universe-sized plane with four habitable planets. Due to magical phenomenon occurring with the Force Core, certain laws of physics are different in Cosmo. The planets come in shapes other than spheres, some celestial bodies orbit based on factors other than size, and there are celestial bodies that do not exist in the Terran Dominion, such as the near-stars: tiny suns that provide heat and light, but which orbit planets and come in a variety of sizes, including some small enough to hold in the palm of your hand. The four habitable planets are Solsun, Starsine, Munil, and Blue Home. During the Conquering, Lucognidus took power over Solsun, Starsine, and Munil, but left Blue Home for Deep Sea. The four planets are ruled by a myriad small countries, some of which are part of Aloutia or Ophidia. Blue Home is under the control of the Demon Lord Deep Sea.

• Spiritua — A plane of indeterminate size, once expanding at a steady rate, but now under the control of the Gods who expand it as needed. The plane turns corporeal things incorporeal, and vice versa. Thus, a soul risen from a body that died on one of the mortal planes will become physical in the Spirituan Plane. The plane is currently divided into ten realms, each one ruled by one of the ten Gods of the Decatheon, and is cut off from mortals. Souls will continue to age in Spiritua, although consumption of everyoung quicksilver (a substance commonly found in Spiritua) will keep them at their current age.

• Morenzal — Local name for the Quarantined Plane. Mortals in Aloutia, Ophidia, Cosmo, and the Makai do not know anything about this plane other than that it exists and it must have been closed off for an important reason. A society of Mind elementals lives on Morenzal, guarding the other planes from whatever evil force may invade from the water portal that leads outside the Pentagonal Dominion.
